About Expert Translation Centre

Since its inception in March 2015, the HSE Expert Translation Centre has been serving the University’s need for high-quality Translation and Editing services. Specifically, our dedicated team works to support the University’s English-language information infrastructure for incoming international students and faculty members. In addition, a key aspect of the Centre’s mission is to support HSE University’s ongoing cooperation with international partners and foster its continuing integration with the global academic community.

At the request of HSE University subdivisions, we provide Translation, Editing and Proofreading of the following types of documents (read further in our Regulations):

From Russian into English

-         HSE University bylaws;

-         Official HSE University institutional documentation; 

-         Information materials for HSE University students and faculty members;

From English into Russian

-         Passports of HSE University international students and faculty;

-         Personal documents and academic credentials of faculty members (required for their employment at HSE  University);

-         Partnership agreements with international academic institutions and global educational and research organisations.

We can also recommend HSE University subdivisions qualified freelance translators for special projects that are beyond our capacity or are outside of the Russian-English language pair.
